Excuses about your level of maturity
Telling myself that it’s only your naivety

Still, I watched

Yet, I made more excuses
Excuses that I must accept that part of you
Telling myself, if I care, then I should tolerate

Once more, I watched
I watched you and your selfish ways
I watched you do harm purposely

Then, I paused
Excuses, I could no longer make for you
Your choices, were made deliberately

The cycle never ends
It just takes different forms

Sorry, not sorry, I’ve had enough
Now, you watch
You simply get to watch me walk away
