Hello,
How are you?
It’s been so long since we last talked
Just checking on you
How’s life treating you?
Are you doing well?
Hopefully, life has been kinder to you than it has been to me
Well you know, from time to time, you have crossed my mind
Can’t say I don’t miss you
I miss you more than you’ll ever know
In case you didn’t know
It is an astonishing gift of mine to become nostalgic of people
Though I try not to get too attached
Sometimes I can’t help it
Like a drug, I get addicted
While I have your attention
I’ve been meaning to ask you one thing
Don’t worry, there’s no pressure
But, can you say that I’ve crossed your mind as well?
Because you know, they say we meet angels on our path
And I’ve heard every life encounter carries with it a life lesson
Which leads me to believe, we crossed paths for a reason
I’m still pondering on it until I figure out the answer
Though it is with sadness I say goodbye
It was a joy having you around
Leaving behind precious memories I’ll treasure forever
I wish you well as I say farewell little angel
