Oh, my heart

When in need, I call you, I hear … silence
Oh, my heart, is doubting

Yet I keep hoping that somehow you hear me
Oh, my heart, keeps trusting

Have I done you wrong? Perhaps, you’re ignoring me, my God
Oh, my heart, is aching

There you go again, putting obstacles in my way
Oh, my heart is fuming

Then you turn around and bless me with good fortune
Oh, my heart, my heart, is dancing

When one or two doors closes, you keep opening more
Oh, my heart, is chanting

With tough love, you build me stronger each time
Oh, my heart, keeps loving

You’ve been my shield, protecting me at all times
Oh, my heart, is thankful
