In My Eyes

You see FAULTS, but I see PERFECTION

You beat yourself up in DEFEAT, but I see PRIDE

You feel LOST, but I see TRIUMPH

You feel DEAD, but I see LIFE

In my eyes

You are BROKEN inside, but I see STRENGTH

You are LONELY, but I see LOVE

You cry tears of SADNESS, but I see tears of JOY

You get IMPATIENT, but I see KINDNESS

In my eyes

You are HURT, but I see HOPE

You’ve been USED and ABUSED, but I see a SURVIVOR

You are ANGRY, but I see PEACE

You LIE sometimes, but you’re still a SAINT

In my eyes

Life BEATS you up, but you’re TOUGH

Time and time again you FALL down, but you’re a FIGHTER

It gets DARK inside, but you always bring the FIRE back to your EYES

You never LOSE, because you’re an undefeated CHAMPION

In my eyes
