Knocked Off The Ground

Like a bird in the sky, I’m soaring high

How did I get here?

Floating around like I’m on cloud nine

Like a blur, it’s so unclear

So high up I don’t want to come down

What is this feeling?

Knees gone weak, I might just fall down

Catch me I’m falling

As time goes by, I fell more and more gradually

Tried to catch myself but I gave up eventually

Knowing too well I was knee deep entirely

If I’m being honest, I knew from the start I fell instantly

Your presence sparks a fire in me

I lose all control when you set your eyes on me

How do you do that to me?

Lo and behold, you have a strong hold on me

I wish you could see the power you have over me

All that I ask is that you hand the key to your heart to me
